This article outlines the core layout of the Hyver interface to establish clear orientation within the platform. learn how to navigate efficiently across dashboards, mitigation planning areas, and findings overviews, to enable faster operational execution and streamlined risk program workflows.


Main Areas of the Hyver Interface

Navigation Bar (left side)

The left sidebar offers quick access to all of the platform’s features. Hovering over each icon reveals its label.
The following sections summarize the operational scope of each item:

Dashboards

  • Exposure Metrics - A high-level view of your organization’s current cyber risk and overall exposure.

  • Root cause timeline - Analyze historical risk drivers and track how specific events or remediation efforts have impacted your security posture over time.

  • Findings dashboard - Track the lifecycle of security findings across multiple domains. Ideal for stakeholder reporting and resource allocation.Operations

Reports

  • Generate and export reports with exposure metrics, risk insights, and progress summaries.

Assessments

  • Mitigation Graph - Visualize attack routes to your business assets, identify critical paths, and explore the relationships between vulnerabilities.

  • Plans - Create, prioritize, and track mitigation efforts. Plans include related findings and remediation assets.

  • Cost of Breach - Quantify your financial exposure by analyzing the estimated monetary risk associated with potential breaches to each Business Asset.

  • Maturity - Evaluate your NIST Cybersecurity Framework subcategory scores and understand how your security capabilities directly influence your Cost of Breach estimates.

Operations

  • Findings -Manage the full lifecycle of security findings from discovery to resolution, whether imported, discovered, or created manually.

  • Assets - Manage all components (e.g., servers, IPs) that make up your organization’s infrastructure.

  • Engagements - Manage your security assessment projects via a high-level card view, allowing you to track the findings and remediation progress for both active and pending engagements.

Auditing

  • Events Audit - See a detailed, timestamped audit trail of all user actions within Hyver.

  • Data Telemetry - A transparent view of all integrated data—assets, vulnerabilities, and findings - as raw data.

Integrations

  • Automated Workflows - Create no-code recipes that trigger actions in other tools (like opening Jira tickets or sending Slack alerts) based on events in Hyver, connecting your security insights to automated responses across your tech stack

  • Data Integrations - Connects with third-party tools like Jira, ServiceNow, CrowdStrike, and others to automatically ingest assets and findings, streamlining your cybersecurity operations and improving risk assessment accuracy.

Settings

  • Manage your account, notifications, integrations, and platform preferences, with options varying based on your role and permissions.

Support

Notifications

  • Stay updated on key events, such as new findings, status changes, or mentions. Clicking a notification takes you directly to the relevant record.

Knowledge Center (question mark icon)

  • Access our Knowledge Base to find detailed guides, troubleshooting tips, and everything you need to master the platform.

User Profile

  • Click your initials to access your personal account settings, preferences, or log out.

  • Role-Based Access: Some features may be hidden depending on your assigned permissions.

  • Home Base: You can always click the CYE Hyver logo or the Risk Dashboard to return to your primary starting point.
