Filtering the Findings List

How to use filters in Hyver to narrow down the Findings list based on attributes, tags, and more.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article explains how to filter findings in Hyver using the advanced filtering panel.
Filters help you focus on findings that meet specific criteria — such as severity, source, asset type, or even tag — so you can streamline triage and remediation planning.

1. Open the Filters panel

On the Findings (or Assets) page, the left-hand pane includes a Filters section.
Click the dropdown arrow next to any filter category to expand it and view available filter options:

2. Apply filters

Each filter supports checkboxes, sliders, or input fields depending on the attribute.
Once you select a filter value, the findings list updates immediately.

Example: Select Severity: Critical and Status: Open to focus on the highest-risk unresolved issues.

  • When applying multiple filters, Hyver uses an AND logic — all conditions must be met.

  • When choosing multiple values within a single filter, Hyver uses an OR logic — any of the selected values will match.

3. Filter by share-level permissions

You can filter findings based on share-level access — a helpful way to quickly view what you or your team has access to manage or review.

4. Clear filters

Whenever a filter is active, an icon appears to show it's in use.
Click Clear to remove the filter and redisplay the full list of findings.

Filtering tips

  • Search by ID: Every finding ID starts with #F-. You can enter just the number (no prefix needed) to search.

    • Asset IDs begin with #A-

    • Remediation asset IDs begin with #R-

  • Filtering by Tags:

    • Tags may apply to findings, remediation assets, or both.

    • If a tag matches only findings, only those are shown.

    • If it matches only remediation assets, the related finding is shown alongside.

    • If both match, all are shown.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

Hyver’s filtering options give you a detailed lens into your findings — from severity to ownership to tags. Whether you're managing a large engagement or just looking for a single fix, filters help you get there faster.
