Overview

This article explains how to use the Scope tab in a Hyver engagement. You’ll learn how to view and update the domains and IP addresses that define what’s in or out of scope for your assessment.

Use this tab to clearly outline what parts of your infrastructure will be evaluated.

What the Scope tab shows

Click the Scope tab in any engagement to see the full list of:

  • Domains

  • IP addresses

  • IP ranges

  • Subnets

These are the network components Hyver will assess during the engagement.

Actions you can take

In the Scope tab, you can:

  • Add domains
Manually add a single domain to be included or excluded from the assessment.

  • Add IPs
Enter individual IP addresses, IP ranges, or subnets, and mark them as In Scope or Out of Scope.

  • Import domains
Upload a CSV file containing a list of domains, IPs, or subnets. Hyver will automatically classify each entry and apply your selected scope status.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

The Scope tab gives you precise control over what Hyver will evaluate. Whether you’re importing data or adding entries manually, this is where you define the digital territory for your engagement.

Check your entries carefully — a well-defined scope leads to better results.
