Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

The Findings page in Hyver offers powerful tools to manage your maturity-related findings. This article explains how to filter, group, and customize your view to make it easier to align findings with NIST maturity assessments.

How to Filter Findings

You can filter findings based on their connection to NIST maturity elements:

  • By NIST Function

  • By Category

  • By Subcategory

  • By Maturity Level

Unmapped Framework Filter

Use the Unmapped Framework filter to show findings that are not yet linked to a NIST subcategory. This helps ensure all relevant findings contribute to your maturity assessment.

Grouping Options

Use the Group by feature to sort and organize findings based on:

  • NIST Function

  • NIST Category

  • NIST Subcategory

  • Maturity Level

Grouping helps you quickly identify coverage areas and gaps, making it easier to prioritize mitigation actions and data cleanup.

Adding Maturity Columns

Customize the Findings page by adding relevant columns:

  • Maturity Level

  • NIST Function

  • NIST ID

This gives you at-a-glance visibility into how each finding supports your maturity scoring.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

Filtering and grouping maturity-related findings allows for better alignment and faster decision-making. Use these tools to keep your findings organized, discover gaps, and ensure everything important is contributing to your maturity strategy.
