Hyver’s search and filtering features help you find specific maturity data — from NIST IDs and subcategories to linked frameworks and comments. This article explains how to search effectively and where to use filters for deeper insight into your maturity assessment data.


Using the Search Bar

You can search for a wide range of maturity-related terms, including:

  • NIST IDs (e.g., ID.AM-2)

  • Mapped frameworks (e.g., EDM03.02 from COBIT 5)

  • Functions, categories, subcategories

  • Text within comments or rationale

Tip: Your search terms will be highlighted in the results for quick navigation.


Using Filters

On the Findings Page

  • Use the Unmapped Framework filter to find findings not yet linked to NIST CSF 1.1 or 2.0

  • Apply NIST filters to narrow by:

    • Function

    • Category

    • Subcategory

    • Maturity level


On the Assets Page

  • Use the Unmapped Framework filter to find technology and process assets not yet mapped to NIST

  • Filter by NIST-related attributes to see what’s already aligned
