Parent Company Settings in a Multi-Company Setup

Understand which settings are available in the parent-company Hyver instance.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article explains the limited but essential settings available in the parent-company Hyver instance. In a multi-company structure, the parent instance is primarily used for viewing risk data across subsidiaries — so its settings are minimal and focused.

If you're an admin working in a parent instance, this guide outlines what you can control and what’s managed centrally by Hyver.

Available Settings in the Parent Hyver Instance

Multi-Company Dashboard

  • This is the default landing page for all users in the parent company instance.

  • It shows aggregated exposure, maturity, and subsidiary-level KPIs.

Settings (Admin Only)

Managed by Hyver administrators. These include:

  • User Profile:
    Manage your personal account information.

  • Company Profile:
View or update parent-level company information.

  • Account Two-Factor Authentication:
Configure your 2FA settings for enhanced login security.

  • Notifications:
Set your preferences for email or in-app notifications.

Note: Other configuration options like integrations, framework selection, or detailed system controls are not available in the parent instance. These are handled at the subsidiary level.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

The parent-company Hyver instance is designed for oversight and visibility, not deep customization. Its streamlined settings help ensure that you're focused on what matters — risk metrics and performance across the organization.

If you’re looking to adjust more advanced configurations, head over to the relevant subsidiary Hyver instance.
