Overview
This month’s updates are all about improving clarity, control, and convenience — whether you’re importing findings, reviewing audit activity, exploring dashboards, or just trying to get help faster.
We’ve introduced a powerful new Events Audit page, redesigned the import experience, added Google SSO, and launched a smarter Knowledge Base — now with AI-powered support and intuitive, conversational search.
A Better Way to Learn: New Knowledge Base + AI Support
As of July 31st, the Cye platform's knowledge experience has been fully upgraded — to make it easier, faster, and more intuitive for you to find answers and understand how things work.
This upgrade is all about you — your convenience, clarity, and ability to move forward without friction.
Smarter Search
Searching the Knowledge Base is no longer a guessing game. Results are now more accurate, flexible, and context-aware.
Articles are internally linked, grouped by topic, and include a “Related Articles” section — so you can explore connected content and dig deeper where it matters. The design is also cleaner and easier to read, making browsing feel smoother all around:
Access stays the same: Just click the question mark icon in the upper-right corner of the Cye platform — like you always have. Same click, better experience.
Get Instant Answers with AI-Powered Support
Starting August 1st, you’ll be able to chat directly with the Cye platform’s new AI-powered support assistant — built right into the Knowledge Base. Think ChatGPT — but trained on everything in the Cye platform.
You can ask anything:
“What’s in the Exposure Metrics?”
“How do I update my Company Profile?”
“What does the maturity score mean?”
“How do I delete a remediation asset?”
You’ll get smart, helpful answers in a human, conversational tone — instantly.
Want to talk to Support? No problem. From any conversation with the AI assistant, you can easily ask to contact our support team — and you’ll be guided there right away.
New: Events Audit Page
the Cye platform now includes a dedicated Events Audit page — designed to give administrators full visibility into system activity and user actions across the platform.
This feature helps you stay in control, stay compliant, and troubleshoot faster — all from one centralized location.
Why it matters
The audit log is your system’s memory. It gives you a transparent, traceable view of what’s happening inside the Cye platform, including:
User activity (like adding members or editing settings)
System events (like engagement creation or updates)
Access logs (such as login attempts and authentication changes)
Whether you need to track a change, validate permissions, or meet compliance requirements — the log is built to help you do that with speed and clarity.
Key benefits
A single place to review all system activity
Detailed entries that support compliance and accountability
Powerful filters to find what you need, fast
Built-in search and export options for external analysis or reporting
Event aggregation to reduce clutter when identical actions happen within a short time
Easy cross-navigation: jump into relevant logs directly from a finding, the graph, or a mitigation plan
What you'll see
Each log entry includes:
Date – When the event occurred
Event name – e.g., Engagement created, Member added, Cost updated
Where – The part of the platform affected (e.g., Finding, Engagement)
Details – Additional context like asset name, ID, or value changes (e.g., Cost changed from X to Y)
Who – The user who performed the action (or “the Cye platform” if system-generated)
You can filter by any of these fields or use free-text search to narrow your view.
Access and usage
Available to the Cye platform administrators only
Access it via Settings → Events Audit
You can also be redirected to the audit log view when reviewing changes from other parts of the platform
Not an admin? You’ll see a message letting you know that access is restricted.

the Cye platform Now Supports Multiple Currencies
You can now choose how monetary values are displayed throughout the Cye platform. While USD remains the base currency, you can select from:
Euro (EUR)
British Pound (GBP)
Japanese Yen (JPY)
Danish Krone (DKK)
Israeli Shekel (ILS)
In Group Management dashboards:
Each company’s data appears in its defined currency
The top-level totals are shown in the parent company’s selected currency
To update your display currency: go to Settings → Company Profile

Import Findings Tool: Now Faster and Friendlier
We’ve redesigned the Import Findings tool to make it easier and more reliable to bring CSV data into the Cye platform — especially when you're working with large or complex datasets.
This facelift was built with you in mind. The entire import experience is now more convenient, communicative, and efficient — giving you full control over your data every step of the way.
You can now:
Import and map your data in a single, streamlined flow
Save and reuse column mappings
Understand validation results at a glance
Clean up and retry within the same screen — without starting over
What’s new
Refreshed UI — A clearer, smoother flow for every step
Auto-mapping — CSV columns with matching names are mapped automatically
Template management — Rename or delete mapping templates right in the tool
Interactive validation — See your data in a live, editable table before importing
What you’ll see
Each row in the table represents a potential finding and may include a small icon that flags its status:
Errors — Findings with validation issues (e.g., missing required fields or format mismatches). These can be corrected — but don’t have to be. You choose whether to fix or skip them.
Duplicate findings — Already exist in the Cye platform. These will be skipped automatically.
Overwrite candidates — Match an existing finding but contain changed values. A side-by-side comparison shows you what’s different.
Findings without an icon are clean and ready to be imported — no issues detected.
Why it matters
You don’t need to be an expert to get your data into the Cye platform correctly. The new import flow guides you through:
Downloading and filling in the import template
Mapping your data to the Cye platform’s structure
Reusing saved mappings to save time
Understanding how the system handles cases like duplicates, restricted fields, and overwrite scenarios
The result? Less time cleaning data, more time acting on it. Importing is now flexible, forgiving, and fully transparent — with real-time feedback to help you move fast and get it right.
SSO with Google
the Cye platform now supports Google single sign-on (SSO), alongside existing support for Okta.
This means you can now log in to the Cye platform using your Google Workspace credentials — saving time, reducing password fatigue, and making access smoother for anyone already using Google day-to-day.
The login flow is nearly identical to Okta, with one small difference:
Admins must upload an XML file (instead of a URL, as required for Okta) during the initial setup.
Once configured, logging in is seamless.

Wrap-up
That’s it for July. From deeper audit visibility and smoother imports to smarter support and a more helpful knowledge experience, this release is about making your day-to-day easier — without changing the way you already work.
Feel free to explore one feature or dive into all of them — whatever fits how you like to work.
