1. Introduction
What is Cye Cloud Posture Solution?
Cye Cloud Posture Solution is a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platform designed to help security and DevOps teams gain full visibility and control over cloud assets. It continuously monitors configurations, detects vulnerabilities, and ensures compliance with security best practices. Cye Cloud Posture Solution automates the process of identifying and mitigating risks, empowering teams to proactively safeguard their cloud environments.
What is the Cye Cloud Posture Solution–Cye Platform Integration?
The Cye Cloud Posture Solution–Cye Platform integration enables automated synchronization between Cye Cloud Posture Solution’s cloud security insights and Cye Platform’s risk and findings management platform.
Once integrated, Cye Platform:
Retrieves vulnerability and misconfiguration data directly from Cye Cloud Posture Solution.
Continuously syncs findings and their remediation status.
Provides consolidated visibility across Cye Cloud Posture Solution-scanned cloud accounts and workloads.
This integration streamlines cloud security monitoring by allowing teams to view Cye Cloud Posture Solution findings alongside other Cye Platform engagements.
2. Prerequisites
Before setting up the Cye Cloud Posture Solution integration, make sure the following requirements are in place:
Active Cye Cloud Posture Solution Account - will be created by the CYE team for every existing Cye Platform customer.
At least one connected AWS or Azure environment in Cye Cloud Posture Solution (Guide).
In case you are already connected to Cye Platform’s Azure scan, it should be done automatically.
In case you are already connected to Cye Platform’s AWS scan - You will need to reintegrate the AWS account to Cye Cloud Posture Solution to allow AWS IAM permissions.
3. Configuring on the Cye Cloud Posture Solution Side
To integrate with Cye Platform, you first need to configure Cye Cloud Posture Solution and obtain an API Key to authenticate GraphQL requests.
API Access: You need an Admin permissions to generate an API key in Cye Cloud Posture Solution with permissions to read all accounts. In case you are already connected to Cye Platform’s AWS or Azure scan, it should be done automatically.
Step 1: Log In to Cye Cloud Posture Solution
Visit Cye Cloud Posture Solution.
Log in using your email credentials.
Tip: If it’s your first time, check your Welcome to Cye Cloud Posture Solution! email invitation.
After login, enable two-factor authentication under user settings (on the right upper corner) for better security.
Step 2: Connect Your Cloud Environment (if not already connected)
Before integrating with Cye Platform, ensure Cye Cloud Posture Solution is connected to your cloud.
For detailed templates and troubleshooting, see Cye Cloud Posture Solution’s Cloud Connection Guide.
Step 3: Create a GraphQL API Key
In Cye Cloud Posture Solution, navigate to Settings → API Keys.
