1. Introduction

What is Solvo?

Solvo is a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platform designed to help security and DevOps teams gain full visibility and control over cloud assets. It continuously monitors configurations, detects vulnerabilities, and ensures compliance with security best practices. Solvo automates the process of identifying and mitigating risks, empowering teams to proactively safeguard their cloud environments.

What is the Solvo–Hyver Integration?

The Solvo–Hyver integration enables automated synchronization between Solvo’s cloud security insights and Hyver’s risk and findings management platform.

Once integrated, Hyver:

  • Retrieves vulnerability and misconfiguration data directly from Solvo.

  • Continuously syncs findings and their remediation status.

  • Provides consolidated visibility across Solvo-scanned cloud accounts and workloads.

This integration streamlines cloud security monitoring by allowing teams to view Solvo findings alongside other Hyver engagements.

2. Prerequisites

Before setting up the Solvo integration, make sure the following requirements are in place:

  • Active Solvo Account - will be created by the CYE team for every existing Hyver customer.

  • At least one connected AWS or Azure environment in Solvo (Guide).

    • In case you are already connected to Hyver’s Azure scan, it should be done automatically.

    • In case you are already connected to Hyver’s AWS scan - You will need to reintegrate the AWS account to Solvo to allow AWS IAM permissions.

3. Configuring on the Solvo Side

To integrate with Hyver, you first need to configure Solvo and obtain an API Key to authenticate GraphQL requests.

API Access: You need an Admin permissions to generate an API key in Solvo with permissions to read all accounts. In case you are already connected to Hyver’s AWS or Azure scan, it should be done automatically.

Step 1: Log In to Solvo

  1. Visit Solvo .

  2. Log in using your email credentials.

Tip: If it’s your first time, check your Welcome to Solvo! email invitation.

  3. After login, enable two-factor authentication under user settings (on the right upper corner) for better security.

Step 2: Connect Your Cloud Environment (if not already connected)

Before integrating with Hyver, ensure Solvo is connected to your cloud.

For detailed templates and troubleshooting, see Solvo’s Cloud Connection Guide.

Step 3: Create a GraphQL API Key

  1. In Solvo, navigate to Settings → API Keys.

  2. Under Solvo API Keys, click Add key.

  3. Enter a name (e.g., HyverIntegration) and select a permission level:

    • Read-only: To retrieve findings and insights.

    • Read + Remediate: To allow Hyver to initiate remediation workflows.

  4. Click Create API Key.

  5. Store the key securely — it cannot be retrieved once the dialog is closed.

  6. Click Done to finalize.

In this section, we’ll configure the connection from Solvo so that Hyver can securely retrieve assessment data.

4. Configuring in Hyver

Now, let’s connect Solvo to Hyver.

In order to do that you need an Hyver account with Admin permissions to access to Settings → Integrations in Hyver.

  1. In Hyver, go to Settings → Integrations.

  2. Select the Solvo tile and click Add Integration.

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    • Name: A descriptive name for the integration - for example: “Solvo AWS Prod”.

    • API Key: Paste the key generated in Solvo.

    • Environment: Choose which Solvo environment to connect (US/EU)

      • If the domain is console.eu.solvo.cloud then it is EU otherwise it is US.

  4. Click Validate — if the connection is successful, you’ll see “Verified successfully.”

  5. Click Save to complete setup.

5. Viewing Results

After first activation, you can view synchronized results within Hyver up to 48 hours.
All Solvo-derived insights will appear directly in the Findings and Assets sections of Hyver — no additional setup or configuration steps are required. Solvo Engagement will be automatically created, and all relevant findings will be associated to it.

Viewing Solvo Findings

  1. In Hyver, navigate to Findings in the left navigation bar.

  2. Open the Filters panel.

  3. Under Source, choose Solvo.

  4. In case of multiple Solvo integrations, you can filter by the relevant Engagement.

You will now see all findings retrieved from Solvo.

Note: In case of Bishop migrated users, you will see a limited list to findings.

Viewing Solvo Assets

  1. In Hyver, go to Assets in the left navigation bar.

  2. Open the Filters panel.

  3. Under Source, select Solvo.

  4. In case of multiple Solvo integrations, you can filter by the relevant Engagement.

You will see all cloud assets detected by Solvo.

Note: In case of Bishop migrated users, you will see a limited list to assets.

6. Types of Fetched Entities

Hyver imports the following entity types from Solvo’s GraphQL API:

  • Assets — Relevant resources among those associated with the connected cloud accounts.

  • Findings — Detected misconfigurations, over-permissions, compliance results, or policy violations.

Finding Lifecycle Logic

  • New findings appear in Hyver as Open.

  • When fixed in Solvo, Hyver marks them as Not Relevant automatically.

  • Manual status changes (e.g., Acceptable Risk, On Hold) in Hyver will be overwritten on the next integration run by Solvo statuses.

  • Reappearing risks are reopened automatically.

  • Note: Hyver do not support ‘Exclusions’ from Solvo.

7. Deleting the Integration

You can delete the Solvo integration once it’s no longer needed.

In Hyver

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.

  2. Select the instance of Solvo you would like to delete.

  3. Click Delete.

In Solvo

  1. Log in to Solvo.

  2. Go to Settings → Integrations → API Keys.

  3. Revoke the API key used by Hyver.

Once the API key is deleted, Hyver will no longer be able to access Solvo data.

Wrap-Up

This guide covered how to connect Solvo with Hyver for continuous cloud security posture management.
By integrating Solvo’s CSPM insights with Hyver’s automated risk tracking, your organization gains real-time visibility into vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and remediation progress — all from a single, unified dashboard.
