What's new in the Cye platform - May 2026

The Cye Exposure Management Platform May 2026 release notes

Workato Token Expiry Notifications

The Cye Platform now notifies you when the access token used by your Workato connector is about to expire or has already expired, so you can take action before your automated workflows stop running.

  • Advance Warning: Receive a notification before your token's 180-day lifespan ends, giving you time to renew it without disruption.

  • Failure Detection: Get a clear alert when a token has expired and the connector is no longer syncing, instead of recipes failing silently.

Root Cause Timeline Dashboard: New Widgets

Two new widgets on the Root Cause Timeline Dashboard help senior stakeholders quickly understand current posture and identify the dates and root causes behind significant changes.

  • Executive Summary: A scan-friendly panel showing your current cyber maturity level, risk exposure, trend direction, and change since a selected reference point, with brief callouts explaining the primary drivers.

  • Major Days: Highlights dates with statistically meaningful posture shifts, with root-cause summaries and one-click drill-down into underlying Findings and action history.

  • Benchmark Comparison: Quick comparison against peer and industry benchmarks to orient performance within the Executive Summary.

Integrations Audit Log

Audit logging capabilities have been added for integrations, providing visibility into key integration events such as configuration changes and connection updates. Available in Auditing → Events Audit.

  • Integration Event Tracking: View a transparent record of integration-related actions, including configuration changes and connection updates.

  • Compliance and Troubleshooting: Support audit requirements and investigate integration issues from a single log.

Group-Level Management Related Releases:

Group-Level Overview Dashboard

A new dashboard for organizations managing multiple companies in the Cye Platform, bringing data from all companies or business units into a single, configurable view.

Applies to Group Management setups.

  • Side-by-Side Comparison: Compare companies with consistent metrics and timeframes across your entire group.

  • Flexible Filtering: Narrow the view by geography, product line, or risk area to focus on what matters.

  • Trend and Outlier Detection: Identify where performance is improving or deteriorating across companies over selected time windows.

  • Modular Layout: Show, hide, and rearrange dashboard widgets to tailor the view for different stakeholders.

Org. Tree — Group Management Navigation

The company switcher has been replaced with a structured, hierarchical Org. Tree that shows all companies you have access to, organized by their position in the group.

Applies to Group Management setups.

  • Full Hierarchy View: See your entire organizational structure at a glance instead of a flat list, with key attributes such as Industry Sector, Revenue, Number of Employees, HQ Location, and Primary Framework.

  • Cross-Attribute Search: Search across any visible attribute to quickly find any company in the tree.

Cye Questionnaire for Private Equity

A structured questionnaire, distributed through Panorays, that collects organizational security data from portfolio companies and converts the responses into Findings, Processes, and Technologies in the Cye Platform.

Applies to Private Equity engagements.

  • Automated Entity Generation: Submitted answers are automatically mapped to platform entities using deterministic rules for structured questions and AI-based extraction for free-text responses and evidence files.

  • Full Traceability: Every generated entity includes its source field, system tag, and an auto-generated comment linking it back to the originating question and answer.

  • Duplicate Prevention: Resubmitting the same questionnaire does not create duplicate entities — the platform recognizes existing matches and skips them.

  • Audit Trail: Every questionnaire-triggered action, including creations, updates, and skips, is logged at the per-question level.
