Set up and log in with Okta SSO

How to register and log in to the Cye platform using Okta SAML-based single sign-on.

Overview

The Cye platform supports Okta SAML for secure, streamlined access — no need to create separate usernames or passwords. This article explains what's required to enable Okta SSO, how to register as a new or existing user, and what to expect after setup. Your organization's Cye platform admin must configure SSO first.


1. Confirm prerequisites

Before using Okta to log in, make sure:

  • SSO is configured in the Cye platform by a Cye platform administrator.

  • You've received a registration email from the Cye platform (if you're a new user).

  • Your domain is allowlisted — ask your account manager to verify that your domain is approved (not blocked).

2. Register with Okta

Depending on your situation, follow the appropriate path:

New Cye platform users

Check your inbox for a registration invitation from CYE.
Click the link and select Register using SSO (Okta).
Follow the prompts to authenticate with your Okta credentials.

Existing Cye platform users

If you're already using the Cye platform but want to switch to Okta SSO, follow the steps in:

3. Use Okta for future logins

Once registered, simply click Log in with Okta on the Cye platform login page. As long as you're authenticated in Okta, no further login steps are needed.


Important notes

  • Your role and access in the Cye platform are still based on your Cye platform user permissions — even if you log in through Okta.

  • Make sure your domain is on the allowlist before enabling SSO.
