Overview
This article explains how to use tags in Cye Platform to group, search, and filter findings, assets, and remediation assets based on shared context. Tags are especially useful for organizing large datasets and customizing your team’s workflows.
1. What Tags Are For
Tags let you label and categorize findings, assets, and remediation assets for easier management. Tags are shared across your organization, so all team members can use them for collaboration and filtering.
Example:
Create a tag called Training and apply it to all items related to onboarding or simulation activities.
2. Searching and Filtering by Tags
Once tags are applied, you can search and filter pages using tag criteria:
Filter the Findings page by a single tag or any combination of tags.
Use tags to define custom views that highlight items based on business function, priority, or use case.
3. Importing and Exporting Tags
Tags are preserved when you import or export assets. They’re included automatically along with other metadata fields.
Important notes
Tags are case-sensitive. Be consistent with naming to avoid duplicates.
Tags are visible to all Cye Platform users within your organization.
Deleting a tag from one item does not remove it from others.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
Tags help you keep your work structured and relevant, especially when you’re managing a growing list of findings or assets. Use them creatively — by team, project, severity, or purpose — and tailor your Cye Platform environment to the way you work best.
