Findings in Process

Track active security findings by severity and status.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

The Findings in Process view shows how many unresolved findings are currently being worked on — organized by severity. This article explains which findings are included, how the statuses are defined, and what you might see depending on your license and permissions.
It helps you quickly assess the scope of ongoing risk-related work.

What This View Includes

Findings are shown in this view if they have one of the following statuses:

  • Open

  • Reopen

  • In Progress

  • To Do

These are all considered active findings — issues that haven’t been resolved yet and are part of your current mitigation workload.

Where You Might See It

Depending on your Hyver license:

  • You may see a summary bar at the top of the Risk Dashboard.

  • Or, you may see this as a dedicated widget on the main dashboard.

Both options provide the same underlying data — just in different formats depending on your access level.

Severity Breakdown

Findings are grouped by severity level (e.g., Critical, High, Medium, Low) so you can quickly:

  • See the overall workload

  • Spot high-severity risks that are still unresolved

  • Prioritize work based on impact

Tip: Use this view with the Mitigation Planner to decide which open findings need attention first.

Important notes

  • Your view is filtered by permissions — you’ll only see findings you’re authorized to access.

  • Status definitions follow Hyver's standard workflow and update automatically as mitigation progresses.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

This widget is a quick pulse check on your security posture. It doesn’t just tell you how many findings are open — it helps you decide what to fix next.
Check back regularly to see how your in-progress efforts are moving the needle.
