Findings Dashboard

Track your security posture with real-time visuals of vulnerabilities and trends.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article introduces the Findings Dashboard in Hyver — your go-to view for understanding the current state of your organization's cyber risk.
The dashboard includes real-time visual summaries that help you monitor finding trends, severity levels, attack paths, and asset exposure — all in one place.

1. Open the Findings Dashboard

Click the Findings Dashboard button in the left-hand navigation bar to launch the dashboard.

Hyver displays six core widgets — each providing a different lens on your organization's vulnerability landscape:

2. What each widget shows

Finding Distribution

Visual breakdown of findings by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low) and status (Open, To Do, In Progress, etc.).
Hyver uses a custom version of CVSS 3.1 to classify findings:

  • Critical – Immediate risk to core business operations

  • High – High risk to secondary or supporting processes

  • Medium – Partial or indirect operational risk

  • Low – No immediate danger, but may compound with other issues

  • Informative – No current risk, but remediation is still recommended

Note: Informative findings appear in the list but are not visualized in this widget.

Security Domain

Shows how findings are distributed across different security domains, such as Application Security or Identity Management.
Hover over any bar to see more detail.

Top Findings to Block

Highlights the four highest-priority findings that, if mitigated, would most disrupt attack paths.
Each includes:

  • Finding name and status

  • Estimated mitigation cost

  • Estimated effort level

  • Maximum probability of exploitation

  • Hyver’s recommended priority

Created vs. Fixed Findings Trends

A timeline graph comparing the number of findings created vs. resolved over time.
Useful for tracking remediation progress.

A dashed line may appear if there’s not enough data for a full month.

Asset Discovery Summary

Shows discovered assets and their importance levels (configurable per asset).
For example: 14 medium-importance assets might include domains, URLs, services, and IP ranges — each represented in a row with visual importance indicators.

Finding Distribution by MITRE ATT&CK

Categorizes findings according to MITRE ATT&CK tactics (e.g., Initial Access, Privilege Escalation), helping align your remediation strategy with real-world attack behavior.

3. Hyver Trending Findings

This widget compares your organization’s posture to trends seen across other Hyver customers.

  • Each trending finding shows how common it is in the Hyver community (e.g., “54% of orgs have Weak Password Policy”).

  • You can mark whether it exists in your environment:

    • Yes

    • No

    • Yes, as Potential (for unconfirmed but suspected cases)

This helps your team flag findings for further investigation. Each entry also displays its associated security domain.

Important notes

  • Dashboard data refreshes every 60 minutes.

  • Use the dashboard for executive reporting, mitigation planning, or benchmarking progress over time.

Wrap-up / Next Steps
