Overview
This article explains how to view newly detected assets in Hyver — either since your last login or within a specific time range. This helps you stay on top of changes in your environment and track expanding risk surfaces.
1. Look for the red badge
If new assets have been discovered since your last visit, you’ll see a red badge on the Assets button in the left-hand menu.
The number in the badge reflects assets detected since you last opened the Assets page.
This count is user-specific — it resets for you once you visit the page, even if others haven’t viewed it yet.
2. View newly discovered assets
Click the New assets button at the top-left of the Assets page:
This shows assets that were recently added and not yet reviewed by you.
3. Filter by time window
To see all assets discovered in the past 30 days — regardless of when you last viewed the page — click Assets created in the last 30 days.
This provides a broader look at recent changes, including assets that may have been detected while you were away.
Important notes
Newly discovered assets may appear due to passive discovery, integrations, or manual uploads.
Tracking recent additions helps ensure no unreviewed or unprotected systems are missed.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
It’s easy to overlook newly added assets — but they may introduce fresh risk. Make a habit of checking this view regularly, especially after assessments or updates.
