Overview
This article explains how to view earlier versions of a finding in Hyver.
By default, Hyver displays the latest version of a finding in the details pane, but you can easily switch to an earlier version if you want to review its previous state.
How to display a previous version of a finding
Open the Findings page and click the relevant finding to open its details pane on the right.
If the finding has multiple versions, a Version field will appear near the top:
Then:
Click the Version field to open a dropdown menu of available versions.
The dropdown displays:
The creation date for each version
The highest version number for the most recent update (listed at the top)
Select any version from the list to view its contents in the pane.
You can only edit the latest version of a finding. All earlier versions are read-only.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
Versioning allows you to track how a finding has evolved β including changes in severity, description, or supporting evidence. If you're auditing or comparing historical states, the version dropdown is your go-to tool.
