Adding a Limitation to an Assessment

Document any known limitation that could affect how the assessment runs.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article explains how to add a limitation to an assessment in Hyver. Limitations are useful for noting conditions or constraints that might influence how the assessment is executed or interpreted.

Use this feature to keep important context visible to your team and the CYE service team.

How to add a limitation

  1. Go to the Engagements page.

  2. Find the relevant assessment in the list.

  3. Click the menu icon (three dots) next to the assessment name:

  4. Select Edit.

  5. In the Limitation field, enter a short description of the issue, exception, or constraint:

  6. Click Save.

That’s it — the limitation will now be associated with the assessment.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

Adding a limitation helps ensure the assessment is interpreted correctly and that any constraints are clearly documented. If something could affect timing, scope, or results — note it here.

Better visibility now means fewer surprises later.
