Overview
This article explains how to rerun a failed engagement in Hyver. It applies to automated assessments like Asset Discovery, Attack Surface, and Internet Perimeter, which run on a predefined schedule.
If something went wrong during the last run, you can easily trigger it again — no need to change the engagement setup.
When you can rerun an assessment
You can only rerun the most recent (bottom-most) assessment instance — and only if it failed.
There’s no limit to how many times you can rerun it.
Keep in mind: rerunning the engagement will follow the same scope and configuration currently defined in the engagement.
How to rerun a failed engagement
Open the Engagements page.
Click the engagement to open its details.
Go to the Assessments tab.
Find the last (failed) run at the bottom of the list:
Click the Rerun icon next to it:
The system will attempt to perform the same assessment again.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
Failed assessments don’t have to slow you down. With one click, you can rerun the engagement as-is and pick up where you left off.
If the issue persists, reviewing the scope or checking system access might help.
