Overview
This article explains how to pause or resume automatic assessments in Hyver engagements like AWS, Azure, or Internet Perimeter. These actions are useful if you need to temporarily stop recurring assessments or resume them after a pause.
Only available for active, automatic engagements — and only for users with permission to edit.
How to pause automatic assessments
Open the engagement and go to the General Details tab.
Click the menu icon (⋮) in the top right.
If the engagement is eligible, you’ll see the option Pause all assessments:
You must have edit permissions to access this menu.
Click Pause all assessments.
Once paused:
All running and scheduled assessments show a status of Paused in the Assessments tab.
A visual indication appears confirming that the engagement is paused.
How to resume paused assessments
Go back to the General Details tab.
Click the menu icon again.
Choose Resume all assessments.
When resumed:
If the next assessment has not yet started, it resumes as Running.
If the next scheduled run has already passed, the last run is marked as Expired.
Editing a running or finished assessment
On the Assessments tab, you’ll see a kebab menu (⋮) next to each run.
Click it to access options like Edit, where applicable.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
Automatic assessments are flexible — you can pause them when needed and pick them back up at the right time. Just make sure you have the right permissions, and check the status in the Assessments tab to confirm the change.
