This article explains how the Group-Level Overview in the Cye Exposure Management Platform helps you view and manage cybersecurity risk across multiple business units. It’s designed for large enterprises with subsidiaries, enabling centralized visibility into exposure, maturity, and risk trends.

You’ll learn how to navigate between companies, understand key metrics, and manage access levels.


Accessing the Group-Level Overview

  1. Login behavior

    • On your first login, you’ll land on the parent company dashboard.

    • On subsequent logins, you’ll be redirected to the last the Cye platform instance you logged out from.

    • From there, use the switcher menu to return to the parent company and view the full dashboard.

  2. Who can view it

    • Administrators and power users of the parent company can view the dashboard.

    • These users see both aggregated risk and individual subsidiary data.


What You Can Do

  • View KPIs at the organization level
    See overall exposure, cost of breach, and cybersecurity maturity scores.

  • Drill into subsidiaries
    Use the switcher menu to toggle between the parent company and each subsidiary.

  • Navigate the company hierarchy

    • The dashboard supports multiple parent levels.

    • A counter indicates how many companies are under a given parent.

    • The selected the Cye platform instance is highlighted for clarity.


Access and Permissions

  • A lock icon means you do not have access to that company.

    • Contact your administrator to request access.

  • You can access a subsidiary without being a member of the parent — as long as that subsidiary doesn’t have a lock icon.

  • To access a subsidiary’s the Cye platform instance:

    • You must be a member of that subsidiary.

    • A the Cye platform administrator can add you as a member.


Important notes

  • A subsidiary in the Cye platform refers to a distinct business unit with its own IT infrastructure.

  • The parent company serves as a central hub for managing and viewing risk data across subsidiaries.

  • Each subsidiary’s data is aggregated with others for a full organizational view, but can also be reviewed individually.

  • To set up a Group Management structure in the Cye platform, contact your technical account manager at CYE.
