What's new in Hyver - November 2025

Hyver November 2025 release notes

Updated over 2 weeks ago

CYE AI

CYE AI is your built-in agent for exploring exposure, findings, organizational maturity, and mitigation planning — using natural language..

CYE AI is available to all Hyver users, except customers who specifically asked not to have it.

Why it matters
Instead of clicking through dashboards or asking someone to pull a report, you can ask questions like:

  • “Where are we most exposed right now?”

  • “What’s our best next mitigation step?”

  • “How does our maturity score compare to others in our industry?”

You get instant, context-aware answers based on your actual security data — not static templates or generic insights.

Where to find it
Click the AI icon in the bottom bar:

The chat window opens instantly:

You will receive several predefined questions that can be triggered with a click, and a chat where you can enter any additional questions you have. To see a list of supported questions, please refer to the ‘What Can I Ask CYE AI?’ article.

For now, a multi-company setup does not support CYE AI. CYE AI support across multiple companies is a roadmap item that will be added in the future.

The new import findings tool makes the import process easier than ever before.

You can now import Findings directly through the Unstructured and Structured Import Flow. This enhancement supports common file formats, including PDF, Excel, CSV, and requires only minimal fields to get started. CYE AI automatically enriches the uploaded data using Hyver’s knowledge, preparing it for use across exposure, maturity, and other downstream calculations.

Why it matters
Importing Findings previously required strict structure, specific formats, and familiarity with frameworks like NIST. The new AI-powered import removes these barriers, enabling teams to bring Findings into Hyver quickly and intuitively.

Where to find it

Go to Findings → Import → Import with CYE AI, upload your file, and Findings will be automatically detected, enriched, and presented in the validation table for you to review and import.

CYE AI can automatically enrich the uploaded data using Hyver’s knowledge, preparing it for use across exposure, maturity, and other downstream calculations.

Edit the impact of Security controls on Maturity

Edit control contribution to Maturity - You can now set the Maturity level that each Technology or Process gives to its linked Subcategories. The default is 3.

It is now possible to edit the Maturity level that each security control (Technology or Process) contributes to the Maturity calculation of each linked Subcategory.

The default remains 3. Changing this value impacts all of the subcategories which are linked to the security control.

As this value can only impact the maturity calculation upwards (no negative impact for having a control), to reflect partial deployment of a control it is advised to add a related Finding.

How to use it

  • Set the value: For any Technology/Process, choose the Maturity level it contributes to its linked Subcategories.

  • Default stays 3: If you do nothing, the value is 3.

  • Applies everywhere it’s linked: Changing the value for a control updates all Subcategories linked to it.

  • Only raises scores: This setting can only increase a Subcategory’s maturity. It never lowers it.

  • Partial deployment? Keep the value at 3 (or 4 if appropriate) and add a Finding to reflect gaps or incomplete rollout.

Multi-Company support in integrations

What’s new
As part of our Defender for Cloud and Defender for Endpoint integrations, we enable seamless authentication and data synchronization for organizations managing multiple subsidiaries under one parent account.

Why it matters

This enhancement is designed for enterprise customers managing complex, multi-subsidiary environments. It ensures that each subsidiary’s data is securely and efficiently integrated into Hyver to optimize key performance metrics.
From a security and compliance perspective, this feature provides isolated access tokens and full audit-ability across subsidiaries, ensuring proper data segregation and governance.

Where to find it
As an Admin, Go to Settings → Integrations and Workflows, and choose the relevant integration - Defender for Cloud or Defender for Endpoint. Click Add for adding a new integration according to the integration guide.

On-premise integrations - status visibility

What’s new
We’ve added enhanced visibility for on-premise integrations, giving customers clear insights into their connection status. Integrations now display whether they are Connected or Disconnected, and in case of an issue, an error message will be shown to help identify the problem.
Status information appears both on the main integrations page and within each specific integration view.

Why it matters

This update improves transparency and reduces support dependency by allowing customers to quickly understand and troubleshoot integration issues. Clear connection indicators empower users to take corrective actions faster, improving reliability and customer trust.

Where to find it
As an Admin, Go to Settings → Integrations and Workflows. You can view the new integration status indicators:

  • On the Integrations overview page – for a quick view of all integrations and their connection status.

  • Inside each Integration details page – to see specific error messages and troubleshooting guidance when an integration is disconnected.
