Searching for Findings

How to search for findings using keywords or specific attributes in Hyver.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article explains how to search for specific findings on the Findings page.
Whether you're looking for a finding by name, owner, or tactic, Hyver gives you flexible search options — including free text and attribute-based filters.

1. Search by keyword

  • At the top of the Findings page, start typing any part of a finding’s details into the Search box.
    You can search by:

    • Finding name

    • Owner

    • Security domain

    • MITRE ATT&CK tactic

    • Or any other visible attribute

  • Press Enter to apply the search. The list will update with only the findings that match your input:

Example: Searching for “Privilege Escalation” shows all findings related to that MITRE tactic.

2. Use filters for precision

For more targeted searches, use the Findings filter panel.
You can filter by specific fields like:

  • Source

  • Creation date

  • Severity

  • Type

  • Tags

  • And more

3. Search in the Mitigation Graph

If you prefer a visual context, you can also search for findings directly from the Mitigation Graph view.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

Search is a fast way to track down a specific finding — whether you're preparing for a fix or just reviewing exposure. Try combining keyword search with filters to get exactly what you need.
