Overview
This article explains how to manually change the status of a manual assessment in Hyver. Depending on the current status, you can either finish an assessment or continue a previously finished one.
These options are only available for users with permission to edit the engagement.
How it works
Manual assessments include a kebab menu (⋮) that offers actions based on the current status of the assessment.
If the assessment is Running:
You’ll see the option to Finish assessment.
→ This sets the status to Finished.If the assessment is already Finished:
You’ll see the option to Continue assessment.
→ This reopens the assessment so you can continue working on it.
Permissions required
Only users with edit permissions on the engagement will see these options in the kebab menu.

Manual assessments give you flexibility to control timing. Whether you need to wrap up an in-progress session or revisit a completed one, the kebab menu gives you quick access to either option.
