Routes and Findings

Control how fixed findings and engagement-specific data appear in the mitigation graph.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article explains how to display fixed findings and filter mitigation graph data by engagement in Hyver. These options help you analyze past remediation efforts and focus on relevant risk data for specific scopes of work.

Fixed Findings and Limited Routes

By default, the mitigation graph only shows active/open findings — the vulnerabilities that still need attention.

To review what’s already been mitigated:

  1. In the Graph Visualizer, enable the Fixed findings and limited routes option.

  2. This will:

    • Display edges with the status Fixed:

    • Highlight these edges in green, making it easy to spot previously resolved issues.

    • Reveal limited routes — attack paths that were once valid but no longer reach business assets due to the fixed finding.

This option is useful for reviewing historical attack paths or understanding how past mitigations changed the threat landscape.

Engagement Filtering

By default, the mitigation graph shows all engagements in your scope.

To narrow your view:

  1. Use the Engagement selector.

  2. Search for and select a specific engagement:

  3. The graph will update to reflect only the findings, positions, and routes from that engagement.

This is helpful when working with multiple projects, business units, or timeframes — ensuring you're analyzing the right data in context.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

Switching on fixed findings and filtering by engagement gives you more control over how the mitigation graph supports your analysis. Whether you're tracking progress or isolating one project’s risk, these filters help you stay focused.

Next, explore how to plan mitigations or highlight routes directly in the graph.
