Overview
This article explains how to create a recurring report schedule in Hyver. A recurring schedule automatically generates reports at defined intervals, helping you consistently share key metrics with stakeholders.
You can create recurring schedules from either the Reports page or the Report Scheduler page.
1. Start a recurring schedule
You have two options for where to begin:
From the Reports page:
Click Create report > Schedule:From the Report Scheduler page:
Click Create schedule > Recurring, then choose a report template from the list:
2. Set up the scheduler
Scheduler name
Enter a name or overwrite the default name shownRecipients
Hyver members will receive an email link to the report and must log in to view it
External emails will receive a PDF copy via email — no login required
(Note: PDFs are not protected, so share with care)
If you don’t add recipients, the report will still be created and shown on the Reports page once the schedule is active.
3. Configure the frequency
Choose how often the report should run:
Daily
Repeat every day or every X days
Pick a start date and end date (optional)
Choose a time (your organization’s time zone applies)
Weekly
Repeat every week or every X weeks
Choose a specific day of the week and time
Select start and end dates
Default: today at 23:59
Monthly
Repeat every month or every X months
Choose a specific day of the month:
First day, last day, a specific weekday (e.g., first Monday), or a specific date
Pick a time
Default: first day of the month at 23:59
Quarterly
Run on the last day of the quarter at 23:59 GMT
Use the date picker to set the start and optional end date
4. Save or activate
Click Save as draft to keep your settings without starting the schedule
Click Schedule to activate it
Once active, the report will generate on schedule and be emailed (if recipients are added) or appear automatically on the Reports page.
Important notes
Only Hyver administrators can configure recurring schedules
Time zone settings are based on your organization’s default
External recipients do not require login access — use caution when distributing reports via PDF
