Overview
If your organization has enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) in Hyver, you'll be asked to enter a verification code after logging in with your email and password. This guide walks you through that process — including how to set up your 2FA method if you're logging in with it for the first time.
1. Open the Hyver login page
In your browser, go to your Hyver URL.
Note: If you're logging in with Microsoft SSO, you can skip the steps below — 2FA does not apply in that flow.
2. Enter your credentials
Type your email address and password.
Click Log In.
3. Complete two-factor authentication
If 2FA is enabled for your account, you'll be prompted to authenticate.
If this is your first time using 2FA:
Download an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or similar.
Use the app to scan the QR code displayed in Hyver:
The app will generate a one-time code (token).
Enter that code into the field provided in Hyver and click Next.
This step links the authenticator app with your Hyver account.
On future logins:
Open your authenticator app, get the current code, and enter it when prompted after logging in with your password.
4. You're in!
Once your code is accepted, the Hyver main window opens.
5. Log out when done
Click the initials icon in the top-right corner and select Log Out.
Important notes
If 2FA is not enabled for your account, you’ll skip the code step entirely.
Each time you log in, you’ll need a fresh code from your authenticator app.
You can use any standard authenticator app — just make sure it supports TOTP (time-based one-time passwords).
Wrap-up / Next Steps
