Overview
This article explains how Hyver administrators can enforce two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users in the company. Enforcing 2FA ensures every user must verify their identity using a second authentication method before accessing the platform.
By default, 2FA is already enabled for new users in Hyver.
Steps
Open Company Profile
Click your user icon in the top right corner and select Settings > Company Profile.Enable 2FA for all users
In the Enforce Two-factor authentication for all users section, click Enable:Verify with admin credentials
Enter your administrator password and click Verify.Once enabled, 2FA will be required the next time any user logs into Hyver.
Important notes
This action affects all users across the company.
Users cannot disable 2FA for themselves when it’s enforced company-wide.
Admins must use their Hyver password to confirm the change — even if they log in through SSO.
This setting does not retroactively apply to users who already have 2FA disabled unless they log in again.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
Enforcing 2FA for your entire organization is a straightforward way to improve security with minimal disruption. If you later decide to remove this requirement, see: [Disabling 2FA for all users].
