Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article explains how to export assets from Hyver into an Excel file. You can export the full list or a filtered subset β€” useful for reporting, offline analysis, or sharing with stakeholders.

1. Open the Assets page

Click the Assets icon in the left navigation pane to view the full list of assets in the current engagement:

2. Apply any filters or search terms

  • If you want to export a specific subset β€” such as a certain asset type, domain, or owner β€” apply filters or use the search bar before exporting. The export will only include what's currently displayed in the list:

  • Please note: that for the Import Assets button to be clickable, you must select at least one asset row:

3. Export the asset list

Click the Export Assets button at the top center of the page:

Hyver will generate and download an Excel file (.xlsx) containing all visible asset data.

Important notes

  • Exported data reflects current filters, not the full dataset unless no filters are applied.

  • The Excel file includes metadata and field values for each listed asset.

  • You can re-import edited data later, if needed, using the CSV import feature (with field mapping).

Wrap-up / Next Steps

Exporting assets is a fast way to take your data offline, review it with colleagues, or prep it for import into another system. Just apply your filters first, then download what you need.
