Overview
This article shows how to add multiple assets to a finding in Hyver — useful when you’ve identified a group of assets affected by a known vulnerability or risk. You’ll learn how to export your filtered asset list and attach it to the relevant finding as remediation assets.
1. Identify which finding to update
Before linking assets, you’ll need to know which finding they should be added to.
If you're unsure, contact the CYE service team for guidance.
Alternatively, the service team can upload the asset list for you if you send them the exported file.
2. Export the asset list
From the Assets page:
(Optional) Apply filters to narrow down the asset list.
Select the assets you want to export by clicking the checkbox next to each asset row.
Click Export Assets at the top center of the page.
This generates a CSV file containing only the assets currently visible in the filtered view.
3. Import the list into a finding
Click the Findings icon in the left pane to open the list of findings.
Find the relevant finding, click the three-dot icon in its row, and select Import remediations from CSV:
Upload the previously exported file to attach those assets as remediation targets.
Important notes
Only users with appropriate permissions can import assets into findings.
You can repeat this process for multiple findings, if needed.
If your list is large or uncertain, it's fine to rely on the CYE service team for support.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
This process is handy when reacting to new vulnerabilities or reviewing asset clusters in bulk. If you're unsure which finding to update, just reach out — you don’t have to figure it out alone.
