Overview
This article provides a general overview of how to view and edit findings in the right-hand pane in Hyver.
The pane includes multiple tabs that organize key information, and if you have the right permissions, you can edit many fields directly from this view.
Specific editing actions are covered in separate, dedicated articles.
Tabs available in the Finding Details pane
Each finding includes several tabs that help you understand and manage the issue from different angles:
Overview tab – Displays general context like severity, status, and associated assets
Mitigation tab – Shows related remediation plans and effort/cost estimates
Standards tab – Includes mappings to compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, DORA)
Project tab – Provides project-specific data and comments
History tab – Tracks changes, comments, and status updates over time
Editing fields in the pane
When you hover over a field, a pen icon appears if that field is editable.
Click the icon to activate the field and make changes.
Edits may be restricted based on your role or share-level permissions.
Note: Only users with Editor or Admin roles — and the Finding & Graph Initiator permission — can modify finding data within an engagement, and only if they were granted access when the finding was shared.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
The right pane gives you both visibility and control — all in one place. If you're managing findings directly, this is where you'll do most of your day-to-day work.
