Overview
This article explains how audit data visibility works for findings in Hyver.
Access to a finding’s history — including who created or modified it — depends on how the finding is shared and your role in the engagement.
Details
Audit visibility is controlled by permission levels. Here’s how it works:
Restricted mode (default for new findings)
When a finding is created in restricted mode, only restricted members can view its audit history. Other users will not see creation or modification logs.Shared with “Anyone with permission”
If the finding is shared more broadly, all users with access to the finding can see its audit data — including past status changes, edits, and who performed them.Switching back to restricted mode
If you later change the setting from “Anyone with permission” back to restricted, only the restricted members will be able to see audit events that occurred after that change.
This ensures sensitive audit data is only visible to appropriate roles, based on how the finding is shared.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
Audit visibility adjusts as your sharing settings change. If you need to manage who can see what, just update the finding’s access level — Hyver handles the rest.
