Overview
This article explains how to edit remediation assets in bulk in Hyver.
When several assets require the same updates — such as changing status, assigning an owner, or verifying fixes — bulk editing saves time and keeps your records consistent.
Steps
Open the Findings page
Click the Findings icon in the left-hand navigation.Expand a finding
Find the relevant row and click the down arrow to display its list of remediation assets.Select assets to edit
Check the box in the left column for each remediation asset you want to update:

A bulk edit panel appears:
Fields you can update
Status – Update the remediation lifecycle stage (e.g., Open, In Progress, Fixed).
If assets have different statuses, you’ll see Mixed — choose a new value to apply to all.
Has been verified – Mark assets as Verified only if their status is Fixed.
If some are verified and others are not, Mixed is shown. You must select either Verified or Unverified for all selected assets.
Cost – Enter a consistent cost value (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
If costs differ, Mixed is shown until overridden.
Effort – Enter the estimated time required to remediate.
Effort is shown in hours, days, or weeks, based on your organization’s setting under Settings > Company Profile.
If values differ, you’ll see Mixed.Owner – Choose a responsible team member from the dropdown (populated from the engagement’s Members and Groups list).
Tags – Add or modify tags for all selected assets. You can choose from existing tags or create new ones:
Click Update
When your edits are complete, click Update to apply the changes to all selected remediation assets.

Bulk editing makes it easy to manage large-scale remediation efforts. Keep your status, ownership, and tracking consistent with just a few clicks — and always double-check “Mixed” fields to avoid unintended overrides.
