Overview
This article explains how to view and manage findings associated with a specific asset in Hyver. You'll learn how to inspect remediation details, edit asset-level fields, and bulk-update multiple findings when needed.
1. Open the Assets page
Click Assets in the left navigation pane to view all assets in the current engagement:
2. Expand the asset to view findings
Next to any asset row, click the arrow on the left to expand its details:
Each row that appears underneath represents a remediation asset — meaning there’s a finding linked to this asset.
3. View finding details
Click on a remediation asset row to open its full details in the right-hand pane.
Alternatively, click the Findings tab in the top-right corner of the asset’s detail view to see additional information.
4. Edit a remediation asset
To update a single remediation asset:
Click the Edit button in its detail pane:
The editing panel will open with the following fields:
Asset name – Display only
Status – Current mitigation status
Severity – Risk level (e.g., High)
Owner – Person responsible for the finding (from the engagement’s Members and Groups list)
Product – Product name, if relevant
Actual cost – Cost to remediate
Actual effort – Estimated effort (e.g., hours or days)
Additional info – Optional notes
Tags – Add or select tags to group similar issues
Click Update to save changes.
5. Bulk edit multiple remediation assets
To edit more than one asset at a time:
Select two or more remediation asset rows.
Click the Edit button:
In the bulk editing panel, you can update shared fields like:
Status – Choose whether the finding is open, in progress, or fixed
Has been verified – (Only for fixed assets) Confirm whether the remediation has been verified
Owner – Assign ownership
Cost – Add estimated cost
Effort – Enter estimated time required
Tags – Apply or create tags for classification
Click Update to apply changes to all selected assets.
Important notes
Only users assigned to the engagement’s Members and Groups can be selected as owners.
Bulk editing saves time when similar fixes or statuses apply across multiple assets.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
