Importing Remediation Assets from a CSV

Learn about the option to import remediation assets in bulk using a CSV file.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article introduces the ability to import remediation assets into Hyver using a structured CSV file.
This is useful when onboarding findings at scale or when associating many remediation assets with existing or new findings. The CSV can include both new and existing assets, and if a new asset type is included, Hyver will create it automatically.

Details

  • Remediation assets can be imported in bulk via CSV upload

  • The import file can include:

    • New assets

    • Existing assets

    • New remediation asset records linked to one or more findings

  • If an asset type listed in the CSV does not yet exist in Hyver, it will be created during the import

Note: While this article focuses on importing remediation assets, the related process of importing assets (without remediation linkage) is described in the [Importing Assets] section.

Mapping required

To complete the import process, you will need to map the columns from your CSV to the appropriate Hyver fields.
This includes mappings for both:

  • Asset data (e.g., asset type, name)

  • Remediation asset data (e.g., status, severity, linked finding)

Wrap-up / Next Steps

CSV-based import of remediation assets allows for fast, scalable onboarding. You’ll define how the imported data aligns with Hyver’s asset and remediation asset structure during the mapping step.
