Overview
This article explains how to edit one or more findings in bulk from the Findings page in Hyver.
If you need to update the same fields across several findings — like assigning an owner, changing the status, or tagging them — this option is faster and more efficient than editing each one individually.
1. Open the Findings list
Click the Findings icon in the left-hand navigation to display the full list.
2. Select one or more findings
Use the checkboxes in the left column to select the findings you want to edit.
You can apply this process to one finding or many — the steps are the same.
When at least one row is selected, the Edit Finding Details button appears at the top of the page:
3. Click Edit Finding Details
A pane opens at the top of the page, where you can update shared attributes for all selected findings:
4. Update the fields
You can edit any of the following for all selected findings:
Status – Update the current lifecycle stage (e.g., Open, In Progress, Fixed)
Owner – Assign responsibility to a member from your engagement’s Members & Groups list
Cost – Estimate the remediation cost
Effort – Estimate the time required (hours, days, weeks)
Tags – Add existing tags or create new ones
Comment – Add a shared comment (also accessible via the Add Comment button at the top right of the page)
Has been verified – Mark the selected findings as verified after resolution:
5. Verifying findings in bulk
You can mark findings as Verified using the same bulk edit process:
Keep in mind:
If some findings are verified and others are not, you’ll be prompted to choose one status for all.
If any selected findings are not fixed, the verification option is disabled.
Either remove them from the selection or fix them first.
To verify findings, your role must include at least:
Editor and Finding & Graph Initiator permissions at the engagement level
Or, you must be a Company-level Admin or Power User with the same permissions
6. Click Update
Once all fields are set, click Update to apply your changes to the selected findings.
Wrap-up / Next Steps
Bulk editing helps you manage findings efficiently — especially when you're coordinating large remediation efforts. Just make sure you’ve got the right permissions and filters in place.
