Overview
This article explains how to create a report in Hyver — either by using a prebuilt template or starting from a blank one. You'll learn how to select a template, customize content, and generate reports manually or on a recurring schedule.
Creating reports helps you share security performance insights with your organization in a structured, meaningful way.
1. Access the Reports workspace
Click the Reports icon from the left-hand navigation.
On the Templates page, choose how you’d like to start:
Select a template from Hyver Templates (prebuilt)
Select a template from My Templates (custom)
Click + Blank Template to create one from scratch
2. Create a report from a Hyver template
Click Create report to generate a report from the selected Hyver template.
To view it, click Go to Reports
To export, click Download PDF
Important: Hyver templates are read-only. If you try to edit one, you’ll see a message letting you know the template can't be modified.
To customize it:
Duplicate the Hyver template
Edit it in My Templates
Then create the report from your modified version

3. Create a report from a personal template
In My Templates, choose a saved template
You can either:
Edit it first, then generate the report
Or create the report directly
Click Create report, then choose:
Now to create it immediately
Recurring Schedule to set up automated delivery
4. Create a report from a blank template
Click + Blank template
Add a title, optional body text, images, and one or more widgets
Once ready, click Create report > Now
You can also choose to schedule the report for recurring delivery

Important notes
All report changes are saved automatically as you go
Once a report is created, you can view it in Hyver or download a PDF version
Only Hyver administrators can create reports
