Schedule a Report in Hyver

Set a one-time schedule to automatically generate and send a report on a specific date and time.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article shows you how to schedule a one-time report in Hyver. You’ll define when the report should be created, choose who receives it, and select the template to use. Once scheduled, the report will be generated automatically — no manual steps required.

You can set up a schedule from either the Reports page or the Report Scheduler page.

1. Choose where to start

You can create a new report schedule in two ways:

  • From the Reports page:
    Click Create report > Schedule

  • From the Report Scheduler page:
Click Create schedule, then select a report template

2. Set schedule details

In the scheduling form, you’ll be asked to fill in the following:

  • Scheduler name
Enter a name for this report schedule. You can use the default name or overwrite it.

  • Recipients
You can choose to send the report to:

    • Hyver members
Add users from your organization. They’ll receive an email with a link to the report and will need to log in to view it.

    • External emails
Add external recipients to receive a PDF copy by email. These users do not need to log in to view the report — so handle these PDFs with care.

Note: If you don’t add any recipients, the report will still be created and will appear on the Reports page when the schedule runs.

3. Set the schedule date and time

  • Click the date picker icon to choose the day:

  • Click the time picker icon to select the exact time:

  • The selected time will follow your organization’s configured time zone

4. Save or activate the schedule

  • Click Save as draft to keep the schedule without activating it

  • Click Schedule to finalize and activate the schedule

Once scheduled, the report will be generated at the chosen time and delivered to the specified recipients.

Important notes

  • Only Hyver administrators can schedule reports

  • PDF reports sent to external recipients are not password-protected — share carefully
